The Style Edit: Wearing Sneakers + Dresses

Do you ever try a look one day and then suddenly you’re like obsessed with styling that way. Then, you find yourself wanting to do it for every occasion, big or small? Okay, good. Not just me then, because that is exactly how I feel about wearing sneakers with dresses. All my life I thought that if I wore a dress, then that meant I had to wear heels. There was literally no exception. In the fall, I would also wear heeled boots and the spring/summer, my alternate option would be sandals/wedges. Either way, my shoes had some sort of heel on them.

BUT, as of this year, that mindset TOTALLY changed. I figured out that sneakers {of all shoes} are PERFECT worn with a dress. And to be honest, it’s not just casual dresses that you can wear them with. They are so cute paired with sequin dresses, printed dress, dresses with ruffles, midi dresses, I mean – ALL dresses. One reason that is just soo good about this styling combo, is that you will never have to sacrifice style for comfort. You can wear the prettiest dress with the simplest sneakers for max comfort for any occasion, even a night on the town. Now ah-days, your sneaker options aren’t just limited to classic “the white sneaker”. There are SO many color ways, prints/patterns, and styles that your classic sneaker are made. Oh, I almost forgot. Another fun fact about wearing sneakers with dresses – you can accessorize them ANY way you want.
