The Most Simple Way To Add Fall Decor To Your Home October 20, 2021
Okay, I’m going to share something, and it’s definitely an unpopular opinion. Here goes nothing… I am not a fan of decorating for Fall. There. I said it out loud for everyone to hear. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love buying pumpkin after pumpkin. But for me, that is the extent of it. Christmas is a whole other story though, for another day.
If you are like me or prefer minimal fall decor, this is for you. One of my favorite things to do every fall is to buy pumpkins. I love going to either a local nursery or farm stand to pick out real pumpkins for both my front porch and inside decorations. For inside, I love getting the baby white pumpkins. There’s just so much you can do with them. From decorating your mantle, to decorating your coffee table, or using them in a tablescape. They are just so versatile. Of course, I could buy fake ones. But, it’s not as fun and just doesn’t always compare to the real thing.
The most simple and prettiest way that I use these is by mixing them in a bowl with topiary balls. It truly makes for the prettiest centerpiece for you coffee table, your dining table, or even for your kitchen counter. It’s so easy to mix in. It perfectly adds just the right about of “fall” into your home. It would also be super cute with velvet pumpkins mixed in. Another reason why I love doing this, is that it’s so easy to do for every holiday. Easter? Mix some pastel eggs. Christmas? Ornaments are adorable. But year round? Leave your bowl with just the topiary balls in it for a simple, chic, and minimal decoration.
My bowl is a vintage find that my mother in law bought me, but here are some bowl options I’m loving. I think I need the pedestal one for my kitchen counter?
