5 Nail Polish Colors I Love That Every Mani Obsessed Girl Should Try For Fall October 6, 2020
I believe that there is one thing that every woman loves, and that is a fresh manicure (or pedicure). I love getting my nails done just like every other girl out there. Nothing compares to that wonderful feeling of being pampered and having a little “you” time.
Even though I love getting them done at the nail salon, I have always been a huge fan of doing my nails myself . Mostly because it saves so much money by doing this. IF I do decide to go to the nail salon, then I always get either the powder dip or the gel so they last longer & so I don’t ruin them 5 seconds after walking out the nail salon. LOL. But after all these years of doing my nails myself at home, I feel like I’ve become slighly a pro.
I love trying new shades as I search for the perfect nail polish color. I tend to always stick to the neutral side & don’t often venture out to colorful nails. Okay, so light pink is an exception, that is basiclally considered a netural, right? Anywho – here is my list of nail polish shades you must try for fall.
1 // Be There In a Processo by OPI – This is by far one of my go to shades for over three years now. It was even the color I wore on my nails when I got married. It is THE perfect neutral shade and so far, no neutral has compared to this one.
2 // Funny Bunny by OPI – This color is one of my all time faves! It’s the perfect shade of white without being too white like white-out. I know a lot of people steer clear of white in the fall, but honestly it’s one my fave colors to wear. Winter white? Yes please!
3 // Cold Brew Crew by Essie Expressie (pictured above) – This quick dry nail polish is the prettiest shade of brown. I’m not usually one to wear dark-ish shades, but I am obsessed with this one. I just recently tried this shade and I definitely believe it will become one I wear on repeat. IF you want to try a darker chocolate shade, try Take The Espresso by Essie here.
4 // Licorice by Essie – This is the most perfect shade of black. I personally have not yet worn black nails, but this shade is in my cart to purchase along with Take The Espresso. I’ve seen this shade so many times and it’s stunning!
5 // Suzi The First Lady of Nails by OPI – I have been dying to try the olive green nail polish trend and this shade is stunning. I’m currently torn between this shade or a darker green shade, Things I’ve Seen In Aber-green by Opi.
Last but not least, when doing a DIY manicure there’s one thing you HAVE TO HAVE – and that my friend is a top coat. If you’re like me, you can’t stay still long enough for your nails to dry & the chance of them not getting messed up within in five minutes is SLIM. Well, I have good news for you. I have found THE best top coat ever + it’s super fast drying. I’ve tried every top coat you can imagine, and so far this is my favorite one (it’s also only $4.99).
